2020 Rates:

Weekday (Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs) £90/night

Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) £95/night

Please note that we are currently letting our room for a minimum stay of 2 nights.

Check-in:

Guests are asked to check-in strictly after 4.00pm to allow for adequate time for enhanced cleaning procedures to be carried out.

Check-out:

We would also ask that guests check-out by 11.00am, again to allow for adequate time for enhanced cleaning procedures.  If it helps, you are welcome to leave your car in the drive for the day.

Payments and Deposits:

We can accept deposit payments via bank transfer or by cheque and balance payments by bank transfer, cash, cheque or credit/debit card payment.  On booking, payment for 1 night as a deposit is requested and can be made by asking for our bank transfer details or sending a cheque payable to Mrs M Welch. Alternatively, payment of the deposit will be accepted by Paypal to maggie.welch@ukgateway.net but please use the Family and Friends option otherwise fees will be deducted and these will be added to the final balance payable.  The balance will only be asked for on departure. If a deposit has not been received within 5 days of booking, the room will unfortunately need to be relisted.

Cancellations:

Should you need to cancel your booking, a minimum 5 days notice is required for a full refund. For cancellations less than 5 days before your expected arrival, if we can successfully re-let your room then a full refund will of course be given; if this is not possible then your deposit will unfortunately be forfeit.

Miscellaneous:

We are exclusively non-smoking and would ask that guests do not smoke anywhere on the property.

​

Because of the nature of the accommodation, mainly the stairs and the woodburning stove, Forest Gate is not suitable or safe for children (0-12 years).

​

We do not accept pets, and would also ask that no outdoor shoes are worn inside please.
